Abstract Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit an abstract of up to 250 words on the dedicated online platform
https://www.jsndi.or.jp/gaku/sak/sak00.do?gaku=127
before March 31, 2025.
All accepted abstracts will be included in the abstract book and distributed to participants.
While submitting, authors competing for the Under 35 Best Paper Award should tick the “I am eligible” box to confirm.

Extended Abstract Submission Guidelines
Authors of accepted abstracts must prepare an Extended Abstract according to MDPI Proceedings template,
Guidelines on Commercialism and Copyright Transfer Form before May 16, 2025.
Please download the Word template or the LaTex
package for MDPI Proceeding template, Guidelines on Commercialism and
Copyright Transfer Form. The length should not exceed four pages. All papers will be subject to peer review before acceptance.

Accepted papers will be published electronically in a dedicated issue of Proceedings journal
(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/proceedings); each extended abstract
will be assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) and will be submitted to relevant indexing databases.
All the contributions should then be submitted in the original format (MS Word or LaTex) and PDF by using the conference
website submission system. In case you need any assistance or you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact

Presentation Guidelines
Here are some basic instructions for presenters. We kindly ask you to read
and follow them for a smooth-running conference.
- A 15' slot is assigned to each regular talk including questions.
The slot should be organized as 10' presentation followed by 5' Q&A. - Each keynote talk is allowed a 45' slot including questions.
- Presenters are encouraged to use their own laptops for their presentations.
A conference room PC will be available if needed. - Well in advance before the starting of your session, please, either upload your presentation on the PC in the conference room or check that your laptop works properly with the projector.
- A laser pointer will be provided.
- Before your session starts, please contact the chairperson and confirm you are a speaker.
Special issue for selected contributions
Best selected contributions will be proposed to submit a full-length article to a Special Issue of Infrared Physics & Technology, which in the past has already published selected papers of the conference. Authors of the selected contributions will be notified by email after the end of the conference. Articles will undergo the reviewing process of the Journal.
