Pre-Conference Tour

Date : Monday morning, September 15, 2025 (tentative)

This tour is a great opportunity for this AITA conference, which started in Italy, to experience the excellence of Italy at the Italy Pavilion through the Osaka Expo 2025.

This will be presented by Nishio Holdings co., ltd. Nishio Holdings has been contracted to build the Italy Pavilion for Expo 2025.

In the Italy Pavilion, Italian companies and Nishio Holdings will hold a mini exhibition introducing infrastructure maintenance technologies at the same time. This was officially approved by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The president of Nishio Holdings would like to have posters from CNR, CNR Construction Technologies Institute, AITA and the Giorgio Ronchi Foundation displayed at the exhibition.

What is a World Expo?

This time the theme is "DESIGNING FUTURE SOCIETY FOR OUR LIVES", and the concept is -People’s Living Lab- A laboratory for a future society.

The Italy Pavilion

The Italy Pavilion is a modern reinterpretation of the Ideal City of the Renaissance by architect Mario Cucinella.

Live events and exhibitions will showcase the best of Made in Italy, where high technology merges with tradition.

Visitors are greeted at the entrance by a theatre, an homage to Italian creativity.

A garden on the rooftop serves as a backdrop for a restaurant, where guests can enjoy Italian cuisine with original ingredients.

Inside, three main areas: aerospace, society and the human being.
