1st International Conference on NDE 4.0 (virtual) - programme and invitation

Dear Sir or Madam,

We announce the 1st International Conference on NDE 4.0. It will be held April 14/15/20/21 2021 (virtually). The face to face conference on this topic will follow one year later in April 2022 in Munich, Germany.

Industry 4.0 is the ongoing fourth industrial revolution, based on digitalisation, digital transformation, crosslinking and networks and lives on data for its feedback loops and one of its biggest and most valuable data sources is NDE. Industry 4.0 leads to an improved production, design and maintenance by analysing the data in digital twins, provided by the industrial internet of things. Measures like artificial intelligence, big data processing, or augmented reality allow to evaluate and visualise the data. Blockchains allow ensuring modification-proof storage and traceability and 5G the wireless connections needed by Industry 4.0.

Top class keynote presentations and excellent invited talks by experts around the globe have been pre-recorded and will be streamed twice to accommodate the different time zones. In addition, a live panel discussion will take place at 13:00 UTC on all days. Questions that arise during the individual presentations can be asked via the live chat during the presentations and will be answered in the panel discussion.
